What to Know 🌙 Festival Info

You’re about to step into something truly special. Phases of the Moon Unity Festival is more than a weekend in the woods, it’s a place where creativity, connection, and care come alive. This message will help you prepare for the magic, whether you’re joining as a guest, a workshop leader, a volunteer, or just someone who wants to feel the energy of the festival for the first time.

Some of the details will be relevant to you specifically, some apply to everyone. Read through and take what you need. We’ve designed this festival to feel effortless once you arrive, so being prepared is your first step to fully enjoying it.

The Incredibly Helpful List

This event is rain or shine. We have indoor spaces for workshops if the weather surprises us, but the forecast calls for a beautiful weekend. Perfect camping weather. 


What to Bring

For all festival-goers, volunteers, and workshop leaders:

Yoga mat

Swimsuit / bathing trunks & towel (hot tub & cold plunge)

Instruments for the fire circle

Blanket or beach chair


Meals:

Prepurchase $50 for all 4 meals (2 brunches + 2 dinners) or $15/meal individually (Venmo or Stripe)


Bring your own reusable plate, fork, spoon 

Refillable water bottle (no single-use plastics)


Camping gear if you reserved a spot

Not car camping; ~100-foot walk to your car

Car, van, tent welcome; no RVs or generators

Non-toxic bug spray (NO DEET)

Sun protection (zinc, layers, hat)

Arrival & Check-In

Musicians & Workshop Leaders: after 5pm Thursday unless arranged otherwise

Volunteers: orientation at 10am Friday morning (or anytime after 10am Thursday if coming early)

Guests: arrive after 12pm Friday; first workshop starts at 1pm

Check in at the station for your waiver and bracelet — no bracelet, no entry.

Parking & Carpooling

Limited on-site parking (~30 cars)

Street parking available; follow check-in guidance

Park only in designated spots; do not parallel park unless directed

Low Waste & Environment

Reusable plate, utensils, water bottle, and trash bag required

Take all trash with you

Smoking

Family-friendly event

Smoking / vaping only in designated areas or off-property

Be responsible — no cigarette butts left behind

Showers

Well water - environmentally friendly soap only 

Available for volunteers (minimum 10 hours service)
